A Parliament of Owls published by Collins is out now. Beautifully written by Mike Unwin and illustrated by myself and a team of great photographers from around the world, this lavish book showcases 50 species with pictures used large and chosen for both their artistry and interest.
On Saturday 26th November I will be attending the Christmas Fayre at Sharrington Village Hall near Holt. Signed copies of my various books including Owls for a fiver and Birds and People for £10 will be available while stocks last. Doors open at 10 am.
I now have very limited availability left for photo safaris for February 2017. This is peak month for photographing Barn Owls as they hunt more actively during the day than at any other period in the year.

This week the spring issue of Source http://www.source.ie/sound/ is out featuring an interview with myself and sound recordist Peter Toll, an audio version will be available from 7th April. This weeks issue of Amateur Photographer features a technique piece on my quest to shoot frogs underwater in the wilds of Norfolk.

My next book Seabirds of the World will be published by New Holland this May. The format copies my very popular book Penguins – Close Encounters with full page images and extended captions making it visually the best we can and an entertaining read too.
